Folsom Parks and Recreation Department provides and maintains a full range of recreational activities and park facilities for the community. They offer a broad range of classes, camps, activities, and events for preschoolers through seniors. All of their programs are included in the Live Folsom Activity Guide which is published and mailed to city residents three times a year -- fall, winter/spring, and summer -- plus a special Summer Camps brochure. You may also browse and register for programs and activities using their online registration system.
The Folsom Aquatic Center is open year-round and provides a variety of swim lessons, specialty camps, lifeguard courses, and more. The Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary is an excellent place to introduce your youngsters to their wild neighbors. The Folsom Sports Complex features indoor batting cages, drop-in sports programs, and offers a vast selection of sports and fitness programs and leagues.
